Montana State Fund provides a well attended conference each year referred to as the Medical Conference. Adjusters, Examiners, nurses, physicians and many other workers' compensation stakeholders attend the conference.
In 2024, the Medical Conference was held for the first time in Red Lodge, Montana. Red Lodge, not known as a conference destination generally, was found by all who attended to be friendly, welcoming and much less stressful than other conference sites.
The conference was an opportunity for Kids' Chance of Montana to provide information about its mission and purpose to many workers' compensation and medical professionals. Thanks to Brittney Wheeler of Genex, KCMT was able to have a table in the main vendor display area where nearly 200 attendees toured. Brittney, as one of the leaders of Kids' Chance of Idaho, has been a long-time friend and collaborator with KCMT. Brittney is pictured above with KCMT founding board member Michael Marsh.
Kids' Chance of Montana was formed and is here to provide educational support to the children of those workers unfortunately severely injured or killed in Montana workplace incidents. For these children, we urge you to consider donating to the KCMT scholarship fund. All monies donated on line and by check are directed back to our students.
