Each year, the KidsChance.org and the 50 state-based Kids' Chance affiliate organizations highlight Kids' Chance Awareness Week. Awareness week this year is November 18 - 22, 2024. We expect a sizeable amount of coverage in the industry and financial press this year for Kids' Chance.

But before Awareness Week arrives, KCMT will hold its annual meeting during the Montana Governor's Conference on Workers' Compensation from September 10 through September13, 2024. The event will be held at the Copper King Hotel & Convention Center in Butte, Montana. As the management and board of Kids' Chance of Montana begin preparations for the annual meeting which takes place during the first day of the conference, we are reminded of the honor that we have to bring our supporters' financial support to children of severely injured and deceased workers in Montana. Each year at the Montana Governor's Conference on Workers' Compensation the Montana Kids' Chance organization jumps in to the Governor's Conference, which is the state's largest wc conference, to raise money for the kids.

In 2024, KCMT plans on a number of raffle items, a drawing and other exciting activities to help raise money for our next group of students. If you are attending, please buy a raffle or 50/50 ticket from one of our dedicated volunteers.  If you are so moved, buy one of our dedicated volunteers a glass of liquid (of course we cannot mention alcohol). Every one of them spend countless hours of their personal time furthering the mission of the charity.

For our insurer and vendor partners that will be in attendance, we know that you will be more generous in 2024 than ever before. Like many individuals and families in the country currently, the kids are also impacted by increasing costs of living. Your generous donations to KCMT at this year's Governor's Conference will allow us to perhaps increase support levels next year, when it will be so badly needed by our students. **If you wish to make a donation to the charity directly, please contact any of our board members and we will make arrangements to accept your check and show our appreciation and thanks publicly. 

Kids' Chance of Montana was formed and is here to provide educational support to the children of those workers unfortunately severely injured or killed in workplace incidents. For these children, we urge you to consider donating to the KCMT scholarship fund. All monies donated on line and by check are directed back to our students.
